What happens when three sisters get together and decide to launch a venture? Alexandra Howe and her twin sisters Stephanie Campbell and Christine Schlumberger have joined forces to create transformative experiences for women at unique destinations around the world. With their love of travel, wellness and mindfulness, this venture is ideal for their blended talents. That is how Becoming Theia was born. Becoming Theia offers retreats for women in midlife seeking connection and a renewed sense of wellness and purpose.
“Our goal is to create a space where women can feel supported and inspired as they prioritize themselves—something many of us don’t do often enough,” said co-founder Alexandra Campbell Howe, a longtime Darien resident. “Whether it’s through a mindfulness retreat workshop, a new cultural experience, traveling to a fabulous new destination, or simply spending time with like-minded women, Becoming Theia is about giving women the opportunity to focus on what truly matters to them.”
The three sisters bring a wealth of experience to this venture with backgrounds in Communication, Business and Psychology. Together, the sisters speak five languages—English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Italian—and have lived in ten countries, giving them a uniquely global perspective. Becoming Theia will offer curated experiences for women to step away from the demands of daily life and focus on resetting their minds, bodies, and spirits. Through immersive retreats and enriching activities held in the U.S. and abroad, participants will gather with like-minded women seeking to make meaningful connections and discover new ways to thrive in midlife.
Becoming Theia will host its inaugural retreat on March 27, 2025, in Litchfield, Connecticut. Titled “Reset & Renew,’ Alexandra says, “This one-day event is designed to provide women in midlife with a transformative opportunity to recharge and reconnect. The retreat will feature a panel of experts, mindfulness activities and cultural exploration.”
