Featured VentureMom Tata Harper – Tata Harper Skincare

This week’s featured VentureMom is Tata Harper – Tata Harper Skincare

Tata Harper is the founder and CEO of Tata Harper Skincare, a luxury skincare brand.  She launched the brand in 2010 on her 1,200-acre organic farm in Vermont. Tata Harper was born in Barranqulla, Columbia and studied industrial engineering at a school known as the MIT of Latin America. She is one smart gal. Tata began her entrepreneurial journey in commercial real estate and finance. At this time, she and her husband began to look for an escape from the summers in Miami, where they lived and the southern humidity. They landed on a farm in Vermont, the Julius Kingdom Farm.

When her step-father was diagnosed with cancer she discovered the dangers of synthetic chemicals in skin care and that sent her on a quest.  Tata dedicated herself to learning everything there was to know about formulating skin care products, green chemistry, ingredient selection and of course about the skin. What started out as an educational exploration into the ingredients of skincare, turned into a personal mission to provide 100% natural, results-driven skincare, and thus Tata Harper Skincare was born.

Now seven years later and 200 plus employees, Tata has disrupted the skin care industry and continues to innovate and create cutting edge luxury skincare products.

Most of her products are formulated, manufactured and packaged on her farm in Vermont – so cool!!! “Our high quality ingredients come from around the globe and each has been hand selected for its unique benefit to your skin.”

Harper is known for her commitment to sustainability, purity, and transparency in her products. And the Tata Harper products deliver results for its users. “Our products are made for those who expect the best and want the most results from their skincare.”  Three children and running a business, Tata still has time for self-care and her favorite past time – antiquing.
