Megan’s Mahjong journey began in her college years but truly took off during the COVID-19 pandemic. She rediscovered the game as a way to bring her community together and share its magic. Her deepening passion for Mahjong inspired the idea of creating her own product line, honoring the game’s rich heritage.

Starting with humble beginnings, Megan singlehandedly managed every aspect of the business. Her garage became a makeshift shipping center, filled with stacks of packing tape, walls lined with boxes, and a trusty space heater for those late nights. Through sheer grit and unwavering dedication, her small operation transformed into a thriving business. In under a year, Oh My Mahjong (OMM) went from garage shipping to being stocked in Neiman Marcus, Tuckernuck, and over 800 stores nationwide, supported by a growing team.

Oh My Mahjong is about more than just products; it’s about empowering women and having fun while doing it. The predominantly female team includes incredible super moms who balance family life and work seamlessly. Beyond creating fabulous products, OMM is passionate about helping women succeed in business through the Mahji Mentors teaching program. This platform equips women with the skills to launch their own ventures while celebrating the rich history and vibrant community of Mahjong.
